Supporting At-Risk Youth in Southwest Arkansas
Our Youth Services Program partners with families, schools, and the juvenile court system to provide guidance, structure, and accountability for young people across Miller, Hempstead, Howard, and Sevier Counties.
The goal: Reduce juvenile delinquency and help youth develop positive life skills.
Youth & Juvenile Services
Young people face unique challenges, and at Southwest Arkansas Counseling and Mental Health Center, Inc. (SWACMHC) we believe every child deserves the chance to grow into a healthy, productive adult. Our Youth Services Program partners with families, schools, and juvenile courts to help youth at risk of delinquency build skills, take responsibility, and stay connected to their communities.
Counseling for Youth & Families
Individual and family sessions to address behavioral issues, trauma, substance use, and emotional health.
Case Management
County-based case managers provide hands-on support, ensuring youth are connected to resources, education, and programs that foster stability.
Drug Screening
Random and scheduled screenings support accountability and healthy choices for youth.
Electronic Monitoring
GPS and ankle bracelet systems that allow youth to remain at home under supervision while meeting probation or court requirements.
Community Service Programs
Court-ordered service opportunities that teach accountability and encourage positive community involvement. Projects include working with nonprofits, cleaning public spaces, or assisting in community events across Texarkana, Hope, Nashville, and De Queen.
Our youth services focus on accountability, rehabilitation, and personal growth. By working closely with families and local systems, we help young people turn challenges into opportunities for success.
